Boy Meets Girl

Boy Meets Girl (ITV1 9pm) treats a familiar comic theme — two contrasting people exchange bodies — with freshness and style. Martin Freeman's slobbish shop assistant finds himself inside Rachael Stirling's fashion journalist. Tonight we see Veronica totter on high heels, repel amorous advances, gorge, belch, swear and generally evince masculine deficiencies. Magnificent Stirling, sterling support, immensely engaging. Never mind the clichés.
