Middletown
This is just a quick update as I need to go offline in five minutes, but I just wanted to post with news of a potential new film role for Rachael. Last night I found out about the new Matthew Macfadyen film, "Middletown". (Matthew Macfadyen is Keeley Hawes' husband, for those who don't know.) Filming will begin this month, and Rachael has been mentioned as a co-lead in the film on the profile of Michael Casey, the producer of Freeze Frame.
It makes sense for Rachael to be involved in another low-budget film (especially one produced by someone she's worked with before) so I'm going to keep a lookout for more news about this one. It's apparently an Irish production made by Green Park Films and will be directed by Brian Kirk. It has received a small amount of funding from The Irish Film Board and the Northern Irish Film and Television Commission already, and will be distributed in Ireland by Eclipse Pictures.
