BAFTA screening of Riot at the Rite

If any of you happen to be in or around London on October 18th, there will be a special screening of Riot at the Rite at BAFTA, which is located at 195 Piccadilly, London. The evening will pan out as follows:

18:30 — Reception
19:00 — Screening
20:30 — Q&A with members of the cast and crew

I should note that I highly doubt Rachael will be attending the Q&A session as it's during the run of Tamburlaine in Bristol, but any London-dwellers or keen travellers may wish to attend, if only to see Riot at the Rite before the rest of us!

Tickets are free for BAFTA members, or £10 each for non-members, and can be reserved via the Academy Events page. I've also added this new information to the calendar.

    Hi, Bonnie- I discovered the Bafta screening on the internet this morning and was going to let you know about it, but you found it, too. Yeah, Rachael probably won't attend unless that falls on the day the theatre's dark. And she feels like traveling! Also at http://www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice/pressreleases/stories/2005/09_september/13/riot.shtml (sorry, I don't know how to link!), there is a photo of some "Riot" dancers in dress and the one second from the left sure looks like Rachael! I believe it is the same woman from your previously posted photo. Maybe Marie Rambert was a choreographer/dancer. What do you think? Either it really is Rachael or, as Thel put it, a ringer for Rachael!

    Hi E.B. Thank you for the link and yes, the second dancer from the left could be Rachael! Killer cheekbones might be the primary clue and that person appears to be the lankiest of the lot! Or then again, it may just be another cheeky tall person… we'll have to wait and see!
