Synopsis
Ex-cop and now private eye Billy Rucker is asked by Mrs Bonham, a rather forbidding business woman, to find her runaway teenage daughter, Lucy. What starts out as just a routine search in the heat of a London summer soon becomes more than just a murder inquiry, when Billy begins to suspect a horrific scam that involves drug abuse and the rapes of other young teenage girls just like Lucy. Curiously, Lucy herself wasn't a victim and Billy has a surprising killer to uncover. Hold Back The Night enters a nightmare world in the seamy underbelly of London — a world which is every parent's worst nightmare of what their daughters might get caught up in around the clubbing scene of King's Cross.
