The Charity Awards 2007
Congratulations to all at the Cinemagic World Screen Festival for Young People having picked up the Arts, Culture and Heritage award at a glittering ceremony in London.
The Charity Awards 2007 is the only national awards scheme in the UK to recognise excellence in the management of charities and for a local charity to bring back such an accolade is fantastic news.
Cinemagic has established itself as a charity that embraces the magic of film, television and digital technologies to educate, motivate and inspire young people through the medium of workshops, film screenings and industry-led masterclasses.
Cinemagic director Joan Burney was on hand to collect the award and spent the evening mingling with the likes of Dara O'Briain, Rachael Stirling, Kate Adie, Zoe Wanamaker, George Alagiah and Lord Neil Kinnock who were amongst the impressive line-up of celebrities attending the event.
