Slight progress made on vanishing comments problem

Okay. I think I may be beginning to get to the bottom of the problem with comments not posting. What you guys are actually seeing is a 403 error, although you don't actually get the error because by default, all 403 errors go back to the main homepage. All you see is that your comment hasn't been added to the discussion. I've figured out what the problem is (I think) and posted about it here: http://www.livejournal.com/community/dyc_hosting/23213.html — hopefully, my host will be able to sort it out!

In the meantime, though, you should know that it's due to a problem with certain words or combinations of letters (as I stated in the post I linked to above). I can't type any disallowed combinations of letters here, because (obviously) it won't allow me to post them, either — but you can see one example in the post above. So you could try avoiding that one. Alternatively, save a copy of your comment before posting, and then just keep altering bits of it until it manages to post. Try looking for that particular combination of letters (which may be the only one that has it has a problem with; I don't know) and removing them from your post, by re-wording what you say. Hopefully we will be able to get this problem sorted out soon, but you could try that in the meantime.

Unfortunately, this also means that the same thing will have been happening with the contact form! :( So if any of you emailed me your comments to add to the discussion, those will have been lost as well — as, obviously, they will have contained the same words and combinations of letters as your unsuccessfully posted comment. If any of you have contacted me via the contact form and not yet received a reply (with the exception of Andrea, who I will be emailing shortly) that means I did not get your message, as I've replied to everyone else's messages. :( Here's a tip: if you email us via the contact form and you are immediately re-directed to the main page (rather than a "thank you" page), that means your message did not go through successfully.

I do hope it'll be fixed soon! :(

Hold Back the Night: Episodes 3 and 4

Happy New Year to all visitors! :)

I'm very sorry it has taken me such a long time to update. Preparing the Hold Back the Night episodes for download is quite a time-consuming business, and I've only just had the chance to get it finished. You can now download all four episodes (plus extract versions of Rachael's scenes only).

We've also received confirmation that Riot at the Rite will air on February 18th, at 9.30pm, on BBC Two. :)

That's all for now, as I need to spend some time with the missus. ;)
