Just a quick update as I've only just found out this information! Poirot: Five Little Pigs will be shown tonight on ITV (UK) from 9pm-11pm, while Maybe Baby will be shown on BBC 1 from 10.55pm-12.40am, also tonight. So you UK folk could have a lovely Rachael-filled Sunday evening!
Sorry this is such short notice.

"The most scandalous bun-fight in the history of the arts took place during a ballet performance on 19th May 1913, which was to change the course of musical and cultural history. Igor Stravinsky's The Rite Of Spring is regarded as one of the most revolutionary pieces of classical music of the twentieth century but when it was first performed, a riot broke out in the audience, partly engineered by Sergei Diaghilev who had masterminded the performance.
Riot At The Rite is a re-enactment of the preparations that led up to the first night, the first night performance in its entirety and the riot itself, with the screen play written by Kevin Elyot (20,000 Streets Under The Sky). The drama will bring to life the nervousness, in-fighting, backstage bitching, jealousies, rivalries and fear of humiliation against the desire for success and celebrity. The ballet will be performed in its entirety as it was first performed by the Finnish National Ballet with the chosen virgin role played by prima ballerina Zinaida Yanowsky."
This is just a little snippet of information from the BBC about the forthcoming production Riot at the Rite, in which Rachael will be playing a character called Marie Rambert, a choreographer. The 90-minute drama will be aired on BBC 2 but we do not yet know when.

I juat wanted to take the time to wish a very Happy Birthday to Rachael's mum, Dame Diana Rigg, who is 67 years old today.

Apologies for the wrong information posted about Hold Back the Night a couple of days ago. We had found the dates on another website (not the official BBC site) and believed them to be correct, but as it turns out, the programme is not in the schedule for July 19th. I've removed the programme from the calendar for the time being and will update with the correct dates once we find them out!

I would like to apologise for the lack of updates recently! Since returning from our holiday, we've both been quite busy with other things and haven't really had the chance to sit down and put together a substantial update.
I finally got the chance to scan in the photos from our Theatre of Blood programme today, and you can see a small version of one of them to the right. The others can be found in the Theatre of Blood promos gallery. There are three new (black and white) images in total.
There's some good news about the radio programme Hold Back the Night, in which Rachael will be playing the character(s) of Lucy and Emma. It will begin airing on July 19th at 11pm (on BBC Radio 4) and will then air for another three weeks, making it a four-part series. We don't know anything about the plot or Rachael's co-stars, but we will of course add more information to the site when we find out. I've added this information to the calendar. Also, UK fans can catch Still Crazy on Five this Friday evening!
But the last and most exciting piece of news is that Rachael will be starring in a brand new BBC drama! We do not yet know a great deal about it, but Claire has been researching it today and has discovered that it is called Riot at the Rite, and will also star Adam Garcia, Alex Jennings, Aidan McArdle, Gryff Rhys Jones, and Richard Hope. It will be a 90-minute-long TV film of sorts, and will be set in 1913 Paris. It will focus on the ballet Stravinsky's Rite of Spring and the riots that broke out at its premiere. Rachael will play Marie Rambert, who (in real life) was invited by Serge Diaghilev to assist Vaslav Nijinsky and his dancers with choreography for the ballet. It is based on real events and sounds very interesting indeed! Will we see Rachael dancing again? Filming is still taking place, as far as we can tell, and we're guessing it'll be released in time for Christmas. That's just a guess, though.
More news as we get it!
