We have some very good news about Rachael Stirling's forthcoming feature film, The Truth! Since our last update, we have been able to locate further information about the production. We can now confirm that Rachael's character in the film is called Martha and that the setting for the film is a therapy group in the Scottish highlands. We have watched the trailer and it looks like it's going to be a really good film; it reminds me of a British, more adult version of Girl, Interrupted for some reason. It'll be good to see Rachael in another modern role; can't wait!
I have added details of the film to the site as a promotional poster has been released, although the release date given on that page is just a rough estimate. Once we've found out the correct release date, I will post here again to confirm.
I have screencapped the trailer and added some promotional images to the gallery.
In addition to this news, we have also found out that Rachael will be starring in a new BBC Radio 4 drama entitled Hold Back the Night. The character(s) she plays is/are Lucy/Emma, which could be the same character with different personas, or possibly different characters. We don't have any information about it yet, but again, I'll post here if I find out anything new.
Last but not least, if you'd like to view the trailer for The Truth, head over to TheTruthMovie.com!

Just a reminder that tickets for Theatre of Blood are now available to the general public. You can buy them at the National Theatre website and I would advise you to get your tickets booked as soon as possible because I should think they are likely to sell quite quickly. I booked our tickets a while ago when bookings opened for Advance Members, and the tickets I wanted (seats in the front stalls for the last night) sold out that same day. (Luckily I booked mine quite early in the morning.) So get them while they're hot!
International fans: For those of you booking from outside the UK (which I know some of you are), you can't have your tickets posted to you. All you need to do is select "I would like to collect these tickets from the NT" after selecting your tickets, and they will be held for you at the theatre box office. Just make sure you turn up at least ten minutes before the play starts (although I'd probably recommend thirty as ten is cutting it a bit fine!) because queues can get long.
If you're going to see the play, comment on this post and let us know! It'd be interesting to see how many visitors to this site are planning on going.
